I know it's a bit dark, but for the record, he has Spider Man slippers & a Steelers winter cap on...

Holiday Program...
Eddie had his first "holiday" program at Preschool last week. It was cute, except when you're father is in attendence & coaxing you while your mother tries to take pictures.
But, he truly enjoys class & his friends.
We even did some crafts & got to meet The Big Guy...

The Boy is Officially 4...
Wasn't sure if he'd live this long. He talks nonstop, & is finally potty trained!
Julie was unavailable for the holiday weekend, but I think this cake was well received...
We love you big guy. Congrats on making it this far, & we look forward to MANY more...

It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas...
And, with it comes the onslought of commercials for various toys that my kids NEED!
Eddie is a normal kid that wants everything he sees on TV. I understand this desire as I used to circle everything under the sun in my mother's annual Sears & JC Penney catalogs.
But, last night he hit a new level of want. We were watching "House" (don't judge me on what I let my 3 1/2 year old watch on TV) when a commercial for some riding toy that hooks to your TV for road effect came on. That's when he announced "When I was a baby, I wanted that." Seriously? Because "that" didn't even exsist when you were a baby. You didn't even know what "that" was.

First Day...
Yesterday was my baby's first day of Preschool. He got to ride the bus & everything!
But, he is in the afternoon class, which means no more nap time (THE.HORROR.)

Thank you Dr. Mom...
We all know the miracle drug. But why is it that we need a prescription for it? I mean, it can be purchased for $4, so why make me miss work for a doctor appointment, or worse, pay an ER bill when I KNOW what's wrong?
It started Friday morning with Eddiethrowing up hurling three times. Then, the fever started. He battled off & on for two days with Motrin. Then, the rash came. I was sure it was strep with scarlet fever. Eddie had it last year, & I've heard once you get them, you ALWAYS get them. Anyway, we finally made the executive decision for James to take him to the ER late Saturday night.
Diagnosis...strep & scarlet fever...DUH!

Picture it...Sicily
Just a little "Golden Girls" humor there.
So, you've finished a long day at work, & just left the grocery store (with husband and children in tow). You find yourself in line at the fancy new "double" drive-thru at your local McD's (yes, we eat out after being at the grocery store. Got a problem with that?). Suddenly, your son, who is 3, shouts "C'on asholes!" You immediately look at his father since he has that same angst ridden, road rage mouth.
Is it wrong that I wanted to laugh?
Discuss amongst yourselves.
